And so the adventure begins. . .

Planning a wedding

To assist you with understanding some of the requirements for a wedding ceremony, you do need to know these things:

  •  at least one (1) months notice must be given prior to your chosen ceremony date.  The completion of a NOIM is required with the celebrant.
  • you must have two witnesses at your ceremony (both over 18 years of age and able to comprehend English)
  • there are two legal requirements that must be said during your ceremony - non negotiable.
  • following your ceremony, after the submission of all legal paperwork (by celebrant) you need to apply to Births, Deaths and Marriages for a legal copy of your marriage certificate to assist with name changing (if required)

You can choose any type of ceremony, in any location. Your ceremony should represent your relationship. Julie offers a number of different wedding packages.

All ceremonies are as individual as YOU, written and planned for YOU!

See 'Which Ceremony' page for examples of some of the types of wedding ceremonies available. If you can't see something here that fits your vision, that's ok, Julie will work with you to bring YOUR vision to YOUR day.

Your day, Your way!

I'm Julie, and I am truly passionate about crafting ceremonies that resonate with your essence and tell your unique love story. Celebrating these moments is not just about the event itself; it's about cherishing the journey that brings us together. I believe that love is a precious gift that deserves to be acknowledged and celebrated.

With a rich tapestry of experiences including banking, a medical practice manager and a funeral director - I have developed a well-rounded skill set that allows me to support people during life's significant events.  My journey has also led me to volunteer for community organisations like The Salvation Army for over 20 years where I proudly contributed to the Red Shield Appeal and ran an outreach program providing support to those in need along the Hawkesbury River, Brooklyn area. I was awarded the NSW Government Community Service Award for the 15 years that I ran the outreach program.

As a mum and grandma, I cherish my family dearly and find immense joy in celebrating life's every day moments with them. I love to travel and explore, I enjoy a glass of bubbles with friends, I've been known to do the odd jigsaw puzzle, to dance like no-one is watching and I am a committed Manly Sea Eagles supporter. I approach each ceremony with warmth, friendliness, and an organised spirit. I appreciate the balance of light-heartedness and respect a wedding ceremony deserves.  You can count on my focussed attention and commitment to detail, as your happiness and peace of mind are the heart of what I do.

Together, let's celebrate the journey and create beautiful memories that will last a lifetime!
